The Mythical White Stag and the Liverpool Curse

The recent turn of events that no one could have missed is the outrage that happened after, and as a direct result, of the Southport mass killing by Axel Rudabukana. A child of Rwandan immigrants. I wont go into the details but this has culminated in his trial and sentencing this week. The incident has also highlighted the misinformation that has, and to some extent still continues by Westminster, media and the forces of law and order. Specifically Merseyside police.

It got me thinking about the length of mythical cycles, symbols, spiritual portents and how long it takes for them to manifest. There is a lot of unrest in that area and others right now. And the people of Merseyside, the scouse, are not known to be timid, in fact they are very vocal.

I recall on 28/09/2021 a white stag was shot dead by police after running wild around the Merseyside streets.

“As a result a decision was made in the early evening to euthanise the deer,” Merseyside police said in a statement. This was on a Sunday evening after it spent hours running through the Merseyside town of Bootle, despite animal welfare experts urging officers to let it find its way home!

The White Stag is seen as being symbolic of purity and innocence, this makes the British state’s execution of this creature all the more symbolic.

A white stag is a familiar creature in both myth and legend.

Its quite probably originated in the period of early Indo-European society, particularly in the northern societies of the Celts among others, whose survival was gained not only through agriculture, but through hunting.

This dependence on a deer may be seen in the Celtic god Cernunnos, depicted as being a man with the antlers of a deer. The white stag in the Celtic myths is an indicator that the Otherworld is near.

It appeared when one is transgressing a taboo--such as when Pwyll tresspassed into Arawn's hunting grounds, or when Peredur entered the Castle of Wonders during his second adventure at the house of the Lame King.

More recently it also appears as an urge to a quest-the white stag or hart often appeared in the forests around King Arthur's court, as he was sending the knights off on to adventure against gods and fairies. (C. S. Lewis also uses this theme at both the beginning and end of The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe.

Ultimately, the white stag is not only a creature of the gods, but is a god himself, symbolizing the creative life force of the universe. Of fertility, life, and also death.

A corrupt and soulless regime had now revealed its true colours. They in all probability have truly cursed themselves in doing something like this.

But the White Stag has always been symbolic of great change. A messenger from the Otherworld, the Stag heralds in a new era for our society. The Government may try to stop it, but it is a portent of huge change on the way. And according to legend anyone who harms it will themselves come to harm.

In nature, albino creatures have a significantly higher than average mortality rate. Their inability to blend into their natural habitats means young examples of the species, such as deer, are much more likely to be picked off by predators, and never make it to adulthood. Adult white stags must therefore be the most cunning, the most quick, the most hardy and the most well adapted in order to overcome their handicap.

Another thing to possibly bear in mind is there was a Great Conjunction between Saturn and Jupiter during the 2020 winter solstice, but lets not pull too many threads into this.

Now lets fast forward to current events regarding the mass killing and the official Merseyside response; continuing to blame social media misinformation, as evidenced by a Channel 4 interview with Chief Constable Serena Kennedy only serving to fan the flames of local anger and indignation. This on top of the handling and sentencing of the riots that occurred right after the incident in Southport.

Merseyside Police will no doubt pay a high price for what they did back in 2021. I wonder if this is it?

I wonder if the powers that be ignore our culture traditions and culture at their peril, after all less than three years for this cycle to happen is not long at all.

Only time will tell.
